Well, my answer would be "yes" if you don't rely on certain plugin (like Omnisphere 2, Serum, or any pllugin known for chewing up CPU & Ram). However, it will cost you more than $1300 (which is what I paid for my Lenovo Legion Y540 17"). Honestly, you'll end up spending at least $2000 for bare minimal specs to be up to snuff.
